AssistMe Secures €6.5 Million for International Growth

CRB Health Tech and Vorwerk Ventures are leading the funding round. AssistMe will use the capital to further develop the alea care platform, expand across Europe, and prepare for its U.S. market entry.

AssistMe GmbH has closed a €6.5 million funding round. The round is led by CRB Health Tech and Vorwerk Ventures. Additional participants include the U.S. investor SUM Ventures, as well as existing investors Brandenburg Kapital, the Conle Family Office, Next Big Thing, and IBB Capital. The capital will be used to expand sales operations in Europe, prepare for the company’s entry into the U.S. market, and further develop the alea care platform.

alea directly alerts caregivers to what matters in daily care: whether an incontinence product needs to be changed, how a person is positioned, when they were last repositioned, and whether a fall may have occurred. Instead of relying on routines, caregivers can tailor their actions to actual needs. The relevant information is automatically transferred to the care documentation. This reduces the administrative burden and frees up more time for what care is all about: caring for people and improving the quality of care.

This funding round supports the ongoing development of AssistMe’s alea care platform in collaboration with care facilities and providers – with visible results: In the last six months alone, the monthly recurring revenue has increased more than sixfold. Today, the solution is in use at both large and small providers, including facilities operated by the Johanniter, the AWO, the Führer Group, and the Argentum Group.

New Markets: Home Care, Expansion Across Europe, and U.S. Market Entry in 2027

alea is already in use in eight European countries, where AssistMe aims to significantly expand its market presence. Entry into the U.S. market is planned for 2027. At the same time, AssistMe is expanding alea into a new market by strengthening the platform’s focus on home care. This will extend alea beyond residential long-term care to support care where most people receive it: at home.
