Digitalization of the care sector has been overlooked for far too long. Together with AssistMe, I want to drive forward the change that I have been a part of with successful projects since 2009. We offer professionals and managers in the medical and care industry a secure, user-friendly platform for simplifying work processes and replacing complex care documentation with smart solutions.

As managing director of the senior care facilities, Alpenland Pflegeheime Berlin GmbH, I am very familiar with the major challenges faced by care providers.
I believe that improvements for people who need care can only be achieved with smart technology.
That is the why I support AssistMe both as an investor and a member of the advisory board in trying to find solutions for one of the greatest care challenges.
Careers at AssistMe

AssistMe GmbH has received additional funding by the Pro-FIT program of the Investment Bank of Berlin (3/2018 until 2/2020). The Pro FIT project's goal is the development of intelligent sensors for intelligent incontinence pants as well as the development of intelligent readout units and innovative algorithms for humidity determination. We are developing an intelligent and connected incontinence pant for elderly people. It can detect the amount and type of excrement in real time. If certain threshold values are exceeded, a recommendation for action is sent to nursing staff. Our solution helps people in need of care to regain their dignity while reducing unnecessary costs for families, care institutions and insurers while decreasing stressful work for healthcare workers. This project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund [ERDF].
